Quotations and tax invoices

Write a quotation or tax invoice with your client's details, turn a quote into an invoice, record payments, PDF and email.

All guides Contact support

Create a quotation

  1. Open Quotes & Invoices → New quotation.
  2. Choose a saved customer or type the client's company, contact person, address, phone, email and VAT number.
  3. Add the lines: start typing to pick a product, or write any item or service. Add a discount % per line if needed.
  4. Press Save & mark as sent.

Send it to the client

  • Download PDF to attach it yourself, or
  • Email to client: the PDF is attached, and the client's reply comes to your own email address.

When the client accepts

Open the quotation and press Turn into invoice. The invoice has the same client and lines and its own invoice number.

Getting paid

On the invoice press Record payment — part or full, with how it was paid and the bank reference. The balance due and the status (Part paid / Paid / Overdue) update by themselves.

A tax invoice for a till sale

In Sales, open the sale and press Tax Invoice for a Client. Add the client's details; the lines and total are the sale's.

Tip: your number prefixes, how long quotes are valid, the default terms and the document colour are under Document settings at the bottom of Quotes & Invoices.
