Returns, refunds and voiding a sale

Return goods and refund

1. Open Returns and find the sale by its receipt number.
2. Choose the items coming back and the quantity.
3. Choose how the money goes back (cash comes out of the drawer; card and EFT do not).
4. The stock goes back on the shelf automatically.

Void a sale made in error

1. Open Sales, find the sale and open it.
2. Press Void Sale and give a reason.
3. Owners, admins, managers and supervisors can void; a cashier needs a manager's PIN.

The voided sale stays on record, marked as refunded, so the reports and the cash-up still add up.
